What is the Egg & Toast Pan?
The Egg & Toast Pan is a rectangular enameled cast iron pan inspired by Japan’s traditional tamagoyaki pan. While typically made from copper or aluminum for quick heat response, tamagoyaki pans have rarely been crafted from cast iron—until now. Reimagined with Japanese craftsmanship and precision engineering, it balances heat conductivity with heat retention to deliver exceptional efficiency—perfect for Japanese rolled omelets, toast, and seared vegetables. Unlike most tamagoyaki pans on the market, the Egg & Toast Pan features a non-toxic enamel finish, free from harmful materials.
Handle types
The Egg & Toast Pan is available with two handle options: premium wood or oven-safe aluminum.
Wood Handle: Thoughtfully designed for a comfortable, balanced grip, each handle is carved from premium wood and hand-finished for a seamless fit with the cast iron body.
Aluminum Handle: The matte-black aluminum handle integrates seamlessly with the pan body and features a sturdy hanging hook. Designed for versatility, the pan is oven-safe, dishwasher-safe, and transitions effortlessly from stovetop to oven to dishwasher.
Dedicated Stainless Steel Lid
With the lid, you can expand your cooking techniques to include simmering, steaming, and poaching, in addition to searing and frying. The lid is oven-safe and dishwasher-safe.
Compatible heat sources
This Egg & Toast Pan is compatible with all stovetops, including gas, ceramic, induction, and electric. The aluminum-handle model is oven-safe up to 570ºF, and the Stainless Steel Lid is also oven-safe.
Is the pan non-stick?
The Egg & Toast Pan is enamel-coated, and if preheated properly, food will not stick to the pan. You can learn the proper preheating steps by referencing page 15 of the Egg & Toast Pan Recipe Booklet (Only available in digital format).
No seasoning required

Here are key heating tips for making delicious dishes with the Egg & Toast Pan. Follow these simple steps to prevent sticking and achieve perfect results. Since the pan transfers heat exceptionally well, high heat is not necessary.
Tip 1: Thoroughly preheat the pan before adding ingredients.
Tip 2: Turn off heat when adding ingredients that tend to stick.
Some ingredients, such as eggs or flour, are more prone to sticking. For these, turning off the heat briefly will help equalize the pan’s surface temperature and minimize sticking.
Please refer to Heating Guide on page 14 of the digital recipe booklet for details on heat levels.

Compatible cooking utensils
Enamel is a glass-based coating that can be scratched by metal utensils. To protect the surface and extend the life of your pan, we recommend using silicone or wooden utensils.
Washing the pan
To protect the enamel coating, avoid abrasive cleaners and scrubbing tools (such as metal brushes or scouring pads). Instead, wash with mild dish soap and a soft sponge. The wooden handle may warp if left in water for too long, so be sure to dry it immediately after washing.
Dishwasher use
The aluminum handle model is dishwasher-safe, while the wooden handle model requires handwashing.
Cleaning tips
Proper storage
Store the pan in a well-ventilated area. If stacking multiple sizes, we recommend placing paper towels or felt dividers between the pans to protect the enamel coating.
Over time, the wooden handle may fade, warp, or develop a slight gap at the hook due to sun exposure, heat, or humidity. To prevent this, we recommend storing the pan in a cool, dry, and dark place.
