Musui–Kamado Design
The Musui’s accuracy begins at casting.
At 2700°F, our proprietary mix of vermicular graphite iron and 13 other metals are melted and poured into sand molds. After the molds are cooled and the pots released, the body and lid of the Musui are meticulously hand-machined until they fit at a .01 mm accuracy. This precision seal empowers 'waterless' cooking—from which the Musui takes its name.
The Kamado collaborates with the Musui.
Inspired by the seminal stove of Japanese kitchens past, the Kamado collaborates with the Musui to ensure the full flavor profile of each ingredient is allowed to bloom. With its powerful and precise heating technology, it far exceeds the performance of traditional electrical and gas stove tops, emboldening cooks in a whole new way.
Crafted to complement your cooking.
Poised table protection
Our Magnetic Trivet makes your dish presentation-ready while protecting your table from the exceptional heat retention of the Musui. The trivet is made of natural wood and is handcrafted in the same cast iron foundry as our cookware.
Easy handling
Designed specially for the Musui’s double handles, our Organic Cotton Pot Holders ensure your Musui can be transported safely from the kitchen to the table. Plus, they can easily be worn or taken off using a single hand.
