The Musui–Kamado is our innovative cast iron induction cooker. It is made up of the Musui, our handcrafted enameled cast iron pot with signature precision seal, and the Kamado, our state-of-the-art induction heating base that delivers three-dimensional heating and precision heat control.

Your purchase will come with the Musui enameled cast iron pot and the Kamado induction heating base. It will also include the following accessories: a Vermicular cookbook with over 70 original recipes, 2 measuring cups (one each for water and rice) and a cast iron lid stand.
Our signature precision seal is designed to lock in and enhance the natural flavors of ingredients. We meticulously machine the contact area of the pot and lid of the Musui to less than .01 mm accuracy, creating a precision seal that maximizes moisture retention and emphasizes the complex flavor profiles of each individual ingredient.
Instead of using water, excess seasoning or sauces, let the ingredients do the work.
Inspired by traditional Japanese kamado stoves, the Musui–Kamado creates three-dimensional heating by combining:
1. High-performance induction coils at the base of the Kamado and
2. An aluminum surround heater that hugs the sides of the Musui enameled cast iron pot
The result is perfect heat distribution, far exceeding the performance of induction cooktops or gas stoves. No more "hot/cold" spots while cooking.
The Musui–Kamado makes precision cooking simple. It allows you to sous-vide without the hassle of vacuum-sealing or make temperature-sensitive recipes like poached eggs and custards. You can also proof dough, make yogurt or even craft your own miso.

The Musui can be used both with the Kamado and on its own without the Kamado.
Using the Musui without the Kamado: On its own, the Musui can be used with any gas or electric stovetop, induction cooktop and oven (oven safe up to 570ºF). Please do not use with microwaves.
We currently ship only within the U.S. (48 continental states and Hawaii and Alaska).

The Musui–Kamado comes with a three-year, non-transferable limited warranty. Please review our warranty policy for more details.
3-Year Limited Warranty: VERMICULAR USA (“VERMICULAR”) warrants that for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship. VERMICULAR at its option, will repair or replace this product found to be defective during the warranty period.
This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser and is not transferable. Please keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty service.
This warranty is extended to the owner of this product for personal household use only. This warranty does not apply to products used for commercial, rental or resale purposes.
To qualify for this warranty, customer is responsible for ensuring that the operating instructions and safety precautions with regard to use, cleaning and maintenance of the product have been strictly observed and followed.
This warranty is valid in USA only.
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover and specifically excludes breaches of the warranted elements caused by or due to factors and conditions beyond normal use, including events beyond the control of VERMICULAR, including without limitation, any of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product, mishandling of the product including drops, use on improper voltage or current, exposure to abnormal or extreme conditions, or disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than VERMICULAR or authorized representatives. Further, the warranty does not cover: acts of God or other force majeure events including but not limited to fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.
VERMICULAR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE EITHER IN CONTRACT OR TORT FOR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OR LOST REVENUE, LOST PROFITS OR LOSS OF USE UNDER ANY THEORY OF LAW.
Shipping: Customer will arrange and pay for shipping and handling charges for the unit to be returned to VERMICULAR. VERMICULAR will arrange and pay for shipping and handling for the return of the unit to the customer.

For the Musui: Do not use any abrasive cleaners to clean. Dry the pot immediately after washing. The contact area of the pot and lid is not enamel-coated and can potentially rust, so make sure the rims are dried thoroughly with a dry cloth.
For the Kamado: Wipe clean with a damp cloth once powered off and cooled down. For tough stains, use a soft cloth with mild dish soap to clean and dry thoroughly with a separate dry cloth. Do not wash the Kamado directly with water, as it is an induction cooker with electrical parts. Immersing in water may result in fire or electric shock.
To achieve our signature precision seal, the contact area of the pot and lid is not enamel-coated and can potentially rust. To avoid rust, make sure the rims are dried thoroughly immediately after washing. If you see rust, clean off with mild dish soap. If you still cannot get rid of the rust, use a rust remover.
To remove stubborn burnt food: Fill the pot with enough water to cover the burnt food, add 2–3 tablespoons of baking soda and boil water over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Once cooled, gently scrub with a soft sponge. Repeat this step several times until clean. Never scrub with force or with abrasive cleaners.
To remove stains: If the enamel gets stained, use only non-abrasive cleaners or cookware-safe bleach with a soft brush or sponge.
